RET deputation meets Ganai, Mehta | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 14: A deputation of J&K ReT Teachers Forum led by state president Vinod Sharma and accompanied by State Chief Coordinator Sukhdev Singh Sumbria and other state executive members today on called on Advisor Khurshid Ahmed Ganie and Finance Secretary A.K. Mehta in their respective office Chambers in Civil Secretariat Srinagar regarding the pending issues of the cadre. While interacting with Advisor Mr Vinod Sharma put forth the burning issue of Undergraduate teachers who haven't yet converted to Teachers Grade II . He appealed him (advisor) to issue an order regarding their conversion to teachers Grade II by removing the bar of graduation so that these teachers may not suffer any more and get all sorts of benefits including 7th Pay Commission . Sharma also highlighted the issue of head teachers who are without salary for last 4 months and urged the advisor to resolve this issue by releasing their salaries out of state plan. Advisor listened the deputation quite patiently and assured that both the issues of Undergraduates teachers as well as head teachers will be resolved soon as the government is very much concerned regarding the same. Later the deputation also met with Finances Secretary A.K. Mehta and urged him to resolve the issues of Undergraduates teachers and head teachers as he is of one of the committee members constituted for the resolution of issues. |
