Vote for candidates, who can take bold decisions: Munish to people
6/30/2019 12:11:07 AM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 29: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Saturday said that Jammu needs strong people, who could represent them in the Legislative Assembly, and not the ones who lack courage to take decisions.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish said, "It's unfortunate that our leaders have not been able to work independently during the past 70-years. They have always looked towards Centre or the State to get the even minor works done."
"Our representatives have to be bold and need to show courage to take decisions which are pro-people. For the past one month the areas which I have visited are even craving for basic amenities. Roads are in a dilapidated condition, drains are choked, streetlights are defunct, there is water shortage and power crisis. These are no big issues and could be resolved within no time but our elected representatives seem to be least bothered about the hardships being faced by a common man," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Munish said, "The forthcoming Assembly polls are a golden opportunity for all of us to change our destiny and reject the people who have taken us for a ride during all these years. If I am elected I assure my people that I will try my best to resolve the issues which confront a common man."
