Evergreen Education Trust conducts "Kaushal Mela"

JAMMU, June 29: Evergreen Education Trust conducted "Kaushal Mela" at Auditorium of Government Polytechnic Bikram Chowk, here, today.
As part of mass mobilization for PMKVY Skill Development Programs launched by Prime Minister of India, Narender Modi,
Kaushal Mela was conducted for the awareness of the student and public at large.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament was the chief guest while Janab G N Peer Suhail Director Skill Mission was the guest of honour.
Over four hundred candidates participated in the Kaushal -Mela. Speaking on the occasion, Sh Jugal Kishore lauded the vision of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in ensuring Skill Development of Indian youth with special focus on candidates belonging to the underprivileged section of the society. Jugal Kishore Sharma addressing the students and the gathering while inaugurating the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna said it is one of the blessings of Prime Minister the youth and every citizen to make themselves skilled and start their entrepreneurship
He noted that candidates coming out in such large number in today's Kaushal- Mela is indicative of changing social norms. Jugal, while interacting with the participants advised them to learn new skills. "India needs you and your skills. You are the power that would make India strong, you are the people for whom our Prime Minister Narendra Modi dreams big," Jugal added.
G N Peer Suhail in his address said," Government wanted to awaken the power of youth , to make youth self sufficient and self dependent and is spending liberally in this direction.
Rakesh Gupta chairman Evergreen Education Trust, while sharing the detail of the program said,"Under the renewed initiative over 10 million youth would be tained in various fields thus marking a welcome change in their lives. I call upon the youth of J&K to get maximum benefit under the scheme."
" All skill development initiatives are 100 percent funded by the Government of India. It accommodates school dropouts, provides skill and also certifies it for better employment opportunities globally," said Rakesh Gupta . Members from PMKVY and other dignitaries like District Vice President BJP, Puneet Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma and many others prominent people were also present on the occasion.
