Police holds public interaction meetings | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, June 29: Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri district held a series of public meetings at several places to strengthen relations between law enforcement agency and civil population. Senior superintendent of police, Rajouri, Yougal Manhas held a police public interaction meeting at Dhara Sambla village of Keri Doongi area. A large number of locals were present in the meeting wherein discussions was held on a variety of issues ranging from civil departments to police. Addressing the meeting, SSP Rajouri Yougal Manhas said that civil population in LoC villages is playing a pivotal role in strengthening of security grid and are a very important part of setup engaged in tight security along LoC. He further assured all the villagers that all the issues put forth by them will be taken on priority and will be redressed. In village Gallhan of Teryath, a public interaction meeting was conducted which was chaired by police post Teryath incharge, SI Habib Pathan. A number of prominent citizens including sarpanches , lamberdar and other senior citizens participated in the meeting. |
