JAMMU, Oct 3: A Delegation of Bari Brahmana Industries Association led by Lalit Mahajan, President, BBIA along with Tarun Singla Sr. Vice President, Viraaj Malhotra General Secretary presented a Memorandum to Ram Madhav, BJP National General Secretary in presence of Vikram Randhawa and Ramesh Arora MLC, Dr. Narinder Singh, State BJP General Secretary, Ameem Gupta and Arvind Gupta State BJP Secretary.
While Conveying Heartiest Congratulation for the Abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu & Kashmir which we termed as a "Historical Decision" taken by Union Govt. working under the able leadership of Narindra Modi Prime Minister of India.
Mahajan drew the attention of Ram Madhav that it is the need of the hour to provide Fiscal Incentives in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to New as well as Existing working Units to provide support to the Unit Holders who are working since long in spite of all the Odds since last 30 Years and providing Direct and Indirect Employment to around Four to Five Laks people of the State as the Industrial Sector is surviving in our State on the basis of Fiscal Incentives given to Existing Industry by State/Central Govt. from time to time for their survival keeping in mind the Hilly Terrain, Limited Market within the State, Surrounded by Hostile Neighbours like China & Pakistan and other related factors.
State Package of Fiscal Incentives: Continuation of Toll Tax at Lakhanpur Check Post on the Goods being manufactured by MSME Sector of the State with the Exemption to Industrial Sector for the safe guard of the Existing Units. Reimbursement of 100% CGST/SGST to Existing Units, Units under substantial Expansion & New Units. 5% Reimbursement on the INTRA-STATE Sale Value of Goods to Existing Units, Units under Substantial Expansion and New Units. 2% Reimbursement in lieu of CST on the Interstate Sale of Goods to Existing Units, Units under Substantial Expansion and New Units of our State. Free Hold Rights of allotted Industrial Land by SIDCO/SICOP shall be given to all the Existing Industrial Units.
Ram Madhav, patiently listen the issues highlighted by Lalit Mahajan and assured the Delegation that Govt. of India will take effective steps to resolve the issues related to the Industrial Sector.
