| Privatisation of PDD will lead to disastrous repercussions: CITU | | |

Jammu, Oct 3: The steps by the government of Jammu and Kashmir in regard to unbundling of Power Development Department (PDD) including its ancillary units is bound to backlash and resulting into detrimental effects both on employees and the consumers in the state.
The CITU State Committee in an emergency meeting held at Jammu today as deplored the steps initiated by the government in this regard. Privatisation of the organization will ultimately lead to disastrous repercussions.
Om Parkash, General Secretary of State Committee of CITU has urged upon the government to roll back the decision in larger interests of the general public and employees of the organization. |
