Jammu, Oct 3: A Police party of Arnia Police Station arrested a person and recovered 36 quarters of Illicit liquor for his possession. Acting on a tip-off, a police party led by Inspector Harmohinder Singh apprehended one person named Keemti Lal resident of ward no 7, Arnia, engaged in the sale of JK Excise Whiskey illegally near Bus Stand Arnia. On search, 36 quarters (of 180 ml) of JK Excise Whiskey were recovered from his possession. In this regard, FIR no 64/2019 under section 48 A of JK Excise Act has been registered at Police Station, Arnia and investigation is underway. |
