| ABS starts free 'Cutting & Tailoring training centre | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 3: Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj (ABS) started a free 'Cutting & Tailoring Training Centre' under the guidance of Col (Retd) R K Sharma, Chairman and S Daljeet Singh, President to train the female students and was inaugurated by Upesh Sharma, a renowned social lady.
Dr Ved Parkash Raina highlighted and regarded the services of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi Ji and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji toward the nation. Dr Raina stressed upon to follow truthfulness and non-violence towards the mankind.
Mamta Malhotra expressed her satisfaction over the activities of the Samaj and asked the females to have Vocational training in different fields and techniques for self-upliftment, work for communal harmony and national integration which is the need of the hour. On the occasion a colourful cultural programme was presented by Miss Prachi Raina and children of the locality. Ravti Parshad sponsored the rent of the Centre and financed inauguration function in the loving memory of his father Late Babu Ram Sharma. A token of love was presented to Mr Deepti Sharma as a special case. |
