| Inter-house cricket championship trophy concludes | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 6: The Harmony House BCA Department Govt SPMR College of Commerce won by six wickets and lifted the Inter-House Cricket championship trophy final at the Jammu university grounds here on Monday.
Elected to bat, Harmony house scored 111 runs in 10 overs as Jatin-led Harmony house bashed peace house bowlers with Jatin scoring highest 46 runs with 5 fours and 2 sixes.
Tashween claimed 1/22, Namrita took (3/17) and Joginder 1/21 in their 3 overs spells for Peace house. In reply Peace house had a terrible start to their innings as they lost both their openers, Joginder and naresh for just eight runs. While Tashfeen was caught by Ramdayal off Aryan on six and Rahul,Uday was cleaned up by Megha on two.
Megha claimed 3/22 in her 3 over's, while aryan Dev (2/17) and Palak (2/11) claimed two wickets each for Harmony house.
Principal of the College Prof Anil Gupta and Head of the Computer Science Department Prof Parveen singh Distributed prizes amongst the Participants. Prof Monika Mahajan along with other faculty members coordinated and organised the entire tournament. |
