Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 6: The investigating agencies have started investigation and collecting details in the case involving a school teacher, who was arrested for showing porn clips to minor girl in Kathua, but was later released without any punishment after paying hefty money.
Early Times in its edition of November 1 had published a story titled, "School Teacher shown porn videos to minor girls. Arrested then released without punishment, in exchange of huge money". The investigating agencies were unaware about the matter and came to know after publication of the story by Early Times.
According to sources, investigating agencies including Central agencies have taken cognizance of the matter and have visited the village from where the involved School teacher of a Primary School resided.
"The agencies have also collected details of the involved police officials along with several influential people, who had negotiated a deal between the family of the victim girl as well as the culprit teacher, who was repeated offender", sources said, adding that following the investigation started by the Central agencies, the Police has also come to back foot and have started preparing documents, to save their skin.
Sources further disclosed that the agencies have taken strong exception to the case as the case was a heinous crime and even if the family members of the victim would have agreed for a compromise and even the panchayat members, action was still warranted under relevant sections against all those involved in the negotiation of the deal, to save the doctor.
Pertinently, Early Times had reported the accused was posted in a Government Primary School, just few kilometres from the Kathua city limits.
A complaint was lodged by the family of a minor girl, in which it was alleged that the teacher had been showing the porn videos to the minor girl and on their complaint the teacher was arrested and kept under custody but was later released following a deal, involving money to the tune of over Rs. 10 Lakhs.
