DBPS extends support to Lawyers' strike

Jammu, Nov 6: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, Parade, Jammu today 6th November 2019 in its meeting discussed the issue of strike of lawyers in Jammu province.
It was expressed by the members that under the forced circumstances, the Lawyer have suspended days to day working to peacefully press their genuine demands.
The shifting of the Court from Janipur Complex is not in the interest of either litigants nor in the interest of Advocates and judicial staffs.
The opinion of the concerned quarters that the road congestion at Janipur Road is misconceived, because the traffic problem is due to this mismanagement of the traffic which is seem even during the Sunday and other holiday.
The transferring of registration of documents is another unwanted step for which the advocates have decided to go on strike.
The Sabha request the Lt. Governor to quash the proposal of shifting the Court from Janipur to Kairy and withdraw the order of the transferring the registration of documents from the registrar as well as sub-registrar of the Civil Court.
