Jammu, Feb 23: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee has appealed government to address their long pending demands. According to press release, a meeting of JKTJAC was held under the Presidentship of Rajesh Jamwal, in which several members were present. While speaking on the occasion Mr Jamwal raised various issues of the teachers. He demanded the conversion of left out RRETs to teachers grade II and teachers grade III including newly regularised ReTs and those having acquired qualifications from outside recognized universities as they are without salary for last one year and suffering badly. He also demanded the regularisation of ReTs who have completed 5 years ReT period so that the process of their conversion to teachers grade II and teachers grade III be initiated and already suffering teachers get their salaries.
