| JKNPP seeks arrest of then DC Udhampur Yasha Mudgal for issuing fake gun licenses | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Mar 3: Reiterating the demand of enquiry in issuing fake gun licenses, hundreds of locals under the leadership of Ward no 3 Councillor Samnik Bhasin staged protest at Slathia Chowk Udhampur against then DC Udhampur IAS Yasha Mudgal and demanded to arrest her soon. While interacting with media persons, Samnik Bhasin blamed then DC Udhampur of misusing her powers & informed that police verification is necessary for issuing gun license but most of issued gun licenses during her tenure have exempted police verification which shows her casual approach, he added. He said that issued fake gun licenses put a suspicion of misusing it by anti national elements/terrorist.
