| Sunderbani residents aghast over closure of Aadhar card facilitation centers | | |  SUSHIL DUTTA

RAJOURI, Mar 3: The residents of Sunderbani Sub-Division of district Rajouri have expressed their resentment against closure of Aadhar Card facilitation centers in the area calling for immediate action on the part of authorities concerned.
The locals who include Ravi, Raju Kumar, Amit Kumar among others said that government authorities had setup two Aadhar card facilitation centers at Sunderbani that include one at CDPO office and other one at Boys Higher Secondary School.
They however alleged that both the centers mostly remain closed due to abseentism of staff engaged for Aadhar card making and allied functions.
The people said that people from all age groups had to wait in queues for hours together to get their turn and now from last one week, often closure of both the centers is making people to face hardships.
They appealed authorities to intervene in the matter besides investigation of alleged charges of money by the staff engaged to prepare the Aadhar cards. |
