Rising Star Nagri United XI Billawar reach to Semi-final

Jammu, Mar 4: Organised by the department of Youth Services and Sports District Kathua with the collaboration of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council the UT wide open cricket tournament entered its 3rd consecutive day here at Sports Stadium Hiranagar.
In first quarter final match, Rising Star Nagar outplayed Nagrota Prehta Bahsoli by 4 wickets. Batting first Nagrota Prehta Bahsoli collected 90 runs in 15 overs and Rising Star Nagari achieved the target just in 13 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. Puri of Rising Star added 38 runs in 24 balls and clinched 5 wickets for the team.
In the second quarter-final match, Uniter XI Billawar outplayed Sahaar Logate by 3 wickets. Batting first Sahaar Logate declined only at 75 runs in which Rohit added his 16 runs and clinched 3 wickets for the team. United XI Billawar achieved the target easily at 13th over at the loss of 7 wickets. Dimple added 15 runs.
Meanwhile, Chief Guest Dr. Sushil Khajuria Child Development Project Officer Hiranagar distributed uniform Kits to the players of all four teams who had participated in today’s quarter-final matches in the presence of Overall in-charge Sh. Yog Raj Sharma (ZPEO Hiranagar), Activity in charger Joginder Kumar Khajuria, Physical Education Masters and teachers.
