Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Mar 4: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) has once again raised the issue of transfer for non transferred teachers and demanded a transfer policy in favour of them. Saleem Sagar said, "transfer of teachers is necessary to uplift the standard of students in government schools, in addition to give a sigh of relief to those teachers who have to travel long distances to attend duties", so government should take some concrete measures to frame a transfer policy rather than giving hollow assurances. State general secretary said that transfer is the right of every government teacher, the "no transfer" rule divides the teachers community on the lines of their cadre. This is biased approach is totally unacceptable. He urged upon authorities to come up with a same kind of transfer policy in favour of all the teachers to avoid the differences. |
