UIDAI organizes training of Anganwadi workers

JAMMU, Mar 4: Training was conducted at MLTC Jammu for new Anganwadi workers of Doda district who were nominated to work as Aadhaar operators after qualifying the exam. Imparting the training, UIDAI officials encouraged the workers to work as Aadhaar operators and imparted basic knowledge of Aadhaar Enrolment process.
The training focused on exam pattern for clearing exam of new candidates, new Child Enrolment Lite Client application, its features, procedures to be followed during Aadhaar enrollment process. The CELC application works on tablets and is targeted for children below 5 years of age and this is being done by Anganwadi workers by either working in camp mode or visiting door to door for child enrolment. In addition to this, the residents can visit their concerned CDPO offices also to get their children enrolled and get mandatory biometric updates done for children who have attained age of 5 years and 15 years. Aadhaar child enrolment is free of cost. Biometric update for children at age of 5 years and 15 years are mandatory and free. For doing any updation/ correction in Name, Date of Birth, address, mobile number or change in photograph, updation of biometrics convenience fee of Rs 50 (including GST) is charged.The residents can call at 1947(Toll-Free) for any queries or raising their complaint.
