Coronavirus suspect reported in Rajouri
Patient admitted in GMC Rajouri, blood sample sent for test

Rajouri, Mar 14: A Coronavirus suspect has been reported from Tehsil Thanamandi of Rajouri district here today. The patient has been kept in quarantine ward of Government Medical College Rajouri under doctors’ observation.
The suspect, who is an ex- serviceman, was suffering from cough, cold and fever for the last many days and moreover he had a travel history of foreign visit which substantiated risk of having corona virus symptoms. The patient is said to be aged, who had gone to Saudi Arabia for religious purpose but when he came back home, he started suffering severe cough, cold and fever.
When local health department came to this news, the suspect was taken to local hospital by health authority in Thanamandi, later he was shifted to GMC Rajouri, where he has been kept in quarantine ward under observation of doctors. Sources informed that blood sample of suspect has been taken and sent for test.
Medical Superintendent GMC Rajouir Dr Raghubir, when contacted, he confirmed that a corona virus suspect has been admitted in this hospital after came to know about his travel history. The suspect will be kept under observation until blood test report is received. If suspect is found positive, then other people, who came to his contact after his arrival in home, will also be kept under observation.
