UDHAMPUR, Mar 14: Continuing JKP's drive to contain the spread of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, Udhampur police recovered 134 kg of poppy straw at Jakhani, NHW Udhampur. Giving details Rajiv Pandey, IPS SSP Udhampur Police party of PS Udhampur led by Insp. Vijay Singh Choudhary SHO PS Udhampur under the supervision of Rajinder Singh Katoch AdSP Udhampur and Dr. Rohit Chadgal DY SP Hqrs. Udhampur laid a naka at Jakhani, NHW, Udhampur. During naka checking, police party intercepted one truck bearing registration no. PB13AR 5475 for checking. During checking of said vehicle, 134 kg of poppy straw was recovered from the vehicle. In this connection, a case FIR No. 125/2020 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Udhampur and further investigation of the case is going on. |
