JAMMU, Mar 14: A team headed by Incharge Police Post Talab Tillo, Sub Inspector Kalicharan arrested one person and recovered stolen gold ornaments.
According to sources, on 16th July 2019 one Nitin Khurana lodged a written complaint at Police Post Talab Tillo that during intervening night of 14/15 July, 2019 some unknown person(s) entered his house and stolen away cash and gold ornaments. On this, case FIR No. 108/2019 U/S 457/380 RPC was registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started. During investigation, leads were developed and No. of suspects were rounded up, based on which, one Mehraj Din resident of Doda was arrested who during questioning admitted his involvement in above said theft case. On his disclosure, gold ornaments comprising of 3 pairs of ear rings and 1 pendant set weighing 15 grams were recovered from his possession. |
