Clap for Kissan Warriors today: DSSP
3/21/2020 9:35:01 PM

JAMMU, Mar 21: Referring to the directions of Prime Minister’s appeal to applaud all those who are working tirelessly to combat Cronovirus pandemic tomorrow during the Janta Curfew, K P Singh, Kissan Cell Chairman of DSSP, appealed the fellow citizens of Union Territory of J&K, to clap for 5 minutes at 5 PM tomorrow, for the fellow famers, who are working tirelessly to provide basic household needs of the UTs.
Singh said that while we clap for doctors, nurses, para-medicos, who are leaving no efforts to protect our lives from the dreaded Covid 19 spread, all others who are on duty at various places to facilitate our lives and vigil on the borders, Kissan of the country need equal applause for their contributions in ensuring that the market is not empty of essential commodities thereby nullifying panic situation in supply and demand chain.
He said that it is to the credit of the farmers of J&K in particular and Jammu region in specific, who are yet to recover from the shock of past three consecutive crop damages by untimely and incessant rains, yet another wrath of nature has come on them as well as the entire nation. He appealed to the citizens to clap from rooftops in the villages loudly for farmers, if it doesn’t violate guidelines of Janta Curfew, so loudly that the sound goes across the LoC and silences the guns violating ceasefire and making it difficult for farmers to work in their fields to meet the needs of the society.
