Jammu, Mar 21: The PHE Department allegedly drilling a tube well in Rajinder Nagar despite the Court’s stay following intervention of local, who are objecting the same for a long time.
The resident alleged that the Park belongs to Jammu Development Authority (JDA), and PHE manipulating the permission granted by JDA. “The JDA have given permission for tubewell with a condition that the local would not be effected of it. But, despite our repeated objections the PHE authorities are adamant to drill the tube at same place”, the local told ET adding that meanwhile, we knocked the door of Court and the Court has stay drilling work.
“Today, some officials, along with machinery and Police forced reached in parked and started drilling works”, they said, adding that though we produced Court’s stay orders ,but the Police team overlooked same.
“Police is favoring them, but not listening us”, they added. |
