Janta curfew: An ultimate self quarantine measure
3/21/2020 10:55:57 PM

Shyam Sudan

At present the entire world is suffering from the deadly attack of covid 19 virus. W.H.O has already declared it as a pandemic. Thousands of people has lost their precious lives in different countries of the world. However its epicentre was in China's Wuhan city, But now it is creating trouble for every nation of the world. Beside the great loss of human in different countries it is rapidly engulfing the economy of different nations. Due to imposition of various quarantine measures and lockdown like situation the world economy is in great crisis. Even in our country the share market is in great crisis and lurch. Sensex is on record fall since many days. China and many other European countries has imposed strong measures to check the spread of this deadly virus. But for our country it is quite tough to impose such kind of restrictions on public life due to large size of our population. However various advisories and other quarantine measures has been suggested by government to check the spread of this pandemic. People are advised to adopt the technique of social distancing and personal cleanliness. Because it is a contagious viral infection so people has been also advised for wearing face mask ,hand globes and other protective costumes.
Honourable prime minister Sh Narinder Modi has already started a campaign against this viral infection. In his valuable message for the country he has appealed to start a new movement of 'janta curfew". It is a new and most effective kind of appeal from the common masses. Prime minister urged people to adopt this kind of movement for the national and personal interest of every citizens of the country.on several occasions prime minister has urged for people participation in some national issues on volunteer basis. People has also responded with their postive contribution in those issues. An appeal of swacch bharat abhiyan and voluntarily leave the gas subsidy is some such examples of people broadmindedness. Janta curfew is a very unique quarantine measure to control the spread of corona virus. It is a kind of self restriction and isolation technique which can help in breaking the chain of this infectious virus. We know that at present our country is in the second stage of this infection. If we adopt proper quarantine and other safety measures at this stage ,then we can easily make a check on this havoc. Otherwise if we will enter in next stage then the condition become very vulnerable for us.Becuase then it is very difficult and cumbersome excercise to tackle this pandemic for our country which is densely populated. Prime minister has also urged to public to show their gratitude towards various medical staff and other humans who are fighting and assisting their duties to control this viral infection. He further asserted that we must be indebted to such ground workers for their noble cause in this crucial juncture. No doubt all the medical faculity members and other related persons who are engaged in this noble cause are doing their commendable job in this direction. They are giving their selfless duty with high professional spirit. Prime minister also urged from public to rang the bell, utensils, clapping etc at the ending hour of janta curfew day as a mark of respect to such workers.Instead of announcing any kind of lockdown situation in the country, prime minister has appealed for this volunteer movement from the public. Hopefully people will respond to this appeal in coming days for the health safety of our country. It is very beneficial for every individual as well as for our country at this stage. It is the formost duty of every civilized citizen of our country to aware the common masses about such things. There is no need to politicize such issues for the national interest. Political parties must understand the severity of this problem at present moment and must guide the people for such things.very few death cases has been reported from our country so far due to this viral infection but our casual approach towards this viral infection can change the graph in coming days. In second stage of this viral infection the mortality rate were very few in other nations too. But when they have entered in third stage there is an abrupt and sudden increase in death rates of people with this viral infection. We must not forget this research report of other countries. We are fortunate at present moment that we are in low stage but it doesn't mean that we are safe and secure from this. Only our proper approach and decisive step can change the conditions in our favour. Janta curfew is the only plausible solution against the corona attack. Prime minister also called for compassion and empathy for poor workers and paid workers in different organisations. However it is the duty of every responsible citizens to help our poor fellow countrymen who are engaged in labour and other daily earning works. Because due to this lockdown like situation in country these people has no source of income for their two times meal. During this janta curfew movement it is the responsibility of every political party and citizens to give their positive response and assistance to such downtrodden section of society and to make this campaign a successful one. Many mislead people who are not taking this pandemic as serious is doing mockery with the system of our country. In shaheen bhag the continuous agitations of some uneducated and uncultured people justify the above statement. These people are playing with the health security and safety of every citizen of our country. They must understand the gravity of this deadly havoc and immediately vacate the Shaheen Bhag. Instead of focussing on our self centric approach at this crucial time we should assist the government in combating such kind of unwanted devastation. It is the duty of every civilized citizens to participate in this campaign with sincere spirit on humanitarian grounds and for the welfare of mankind.
