Govt’s decision to open Mughal Road instil fear among people of Rajouri, Poonch | Expresses doubt of increase in COVID-19 cases | | Rajesh Tandon Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 13: Ever since the government has announced to open the Mughal road for vehicular movement to Kashmir region, the people of Rajouri and Poonch districts have expressed their doubt of increase in COVID-19 cases due to movement of vehicles from these districts. Sources told Early Times that the people have been saying that the move of opening up of historic Mughal Road can cause huge problem of coronavirus due to increase in movement of vehicles from this route. “Already there are many cases have been reported in the both districts and with the movement of vehicles like truck, private cars etc going to Kashmir. there are every chances that people will stop their journey to have some food in these districts, which can cause transmission of virus,” they alleged. They demanded that the movement of vehicles should be blocked this year due to increasing cases. |
