Jammu, Apr 23: Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj a Social Volunteer Organisation working to promote education, environment, health and nationhood among the general masses and students community in particular by organizing different kinds of activities observed ‘World Book Day’.
The day was observed under the guidance of Col R K Sharma, Chairman and S Daljeet Singh, President-ABS with the message ‘Purchase Book, Read Book and Donate Book to educate each one’. On the occasion Madhurima Kaul, Arti Kohli, Ravti Parshad and Chaman Lal Sharma donated books in the library and will be distributed among the needy students on opening of Schools after lockdown.
It is pertinent to mention here that Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj is running a Social Library for last 31 years in the locality, he added. |
