| POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum demands Pahari status benefits | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 23: All J&K 1947 POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum in an emergency meeting chaired by Advocate Amrik Singh express their anguish over ignoring the POJK 1947 Sharnarthees in awarding the Pahari Status benefits.
They appeal to G.C Murmu to enlist the Displaced persons of POJK Sharnarthies who belongs to Pahari areas which now comes under Pakistan unauthorised occupied since 1947 thus should be enlisted for benefits entitled to pahari people.
They further that about 10 lacks POJK Sharnarthi have been displaced and puts in various Campus in slumps areas of Jammu province and till date neither their left out property but their proper claim have been disbursed till date. The Forum also appeal to Lt. Governor to kindly constitute a committee to verify their language culture and other curricular whether its resembles with Pahari speaking people or not they were not migrated on their own but were forced to migrate.
