MENDHAR, May 14: Sarpanch Association Mendhar has demanded immediate release of all the payments pending under MGNREGA in various Panchayats of the Mendhar block and establish a mechanism to save the PRIs from red-tapism, political bossism and exploitation.
In a press conference here today, Shoket Choudhary President Sarpanch Assocation Mendhar Sarpanch Waseem ahmed Khan and Shariq Khan urged upon the Government to clear pending liabilities/ payments under MGNREGA, and create risk- free environment for elected Panchayat members, and set up a mechanism to save the PRIs from red tapism, political bossism and exploitation.
