SAMBA, May 14: In a much anticipated and welcomed decision of district administration Samba, the non essential shops have been eased to be operational in district samba with schedule days and timing. In an partial modification order issued by District Magistrate, Samba Rohit Khajuria, readymade garments, Shoes, Cloth and Cosmetics (Manyari) shops have been exempted in order to facilitate the people of district samba. According to the official handout it was informed that Shops of Medicines, testing labs, Doctors Clinics (all medical facilities), Milk, Vegetable, fruits, bakery and poultry etc shall remain opened daily, while other shops shall follow a strict schedule and timings. Grocery Shops will be operational 5 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) while stationary, mobile and Electrical shops shall be operational twice a week only ( Wednesday and Sunday) In addition to the already above sanctioned shops, today, non essential shops of readymade garments, shoes and cosmetics shops have been also allowed to be opened but only on Sundays while shops dealing in exclusive cloths shall be opened on Wednesday also. Whereas administration has said that order has been issued on trial basis, if any, violations are found it will be withdrawn forthwith. All the owners of shops have been advised to run the shops with 50% of employees while taking all the precautions like wearing masks, using sanitizers and soaps.
