Jammu, May 19: Hindustan Shiv Sena's Jammu and Kashmir President Vikrant Kapoor accused the Education Department of working under the pressure of the owners of private schools to serve their interests. He said that the Education Department has ignored the interests of the parents of children who are contributing in the countrywide fight against the corona virus for the last more than fifty days.
Kapoor reacted strongly to the directive issued yesterday in this context by Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Asgar Samoon. He said that the education department is working to address the interests of the owners of private schools, ignoring the interests of lakhs of parents. He said that the Principal Secretary of the Department of Education has made changes in his instructions several times during the last few days, which clearly shows that he is working under some pressure. |
