| SJM Gillani bereaved | | Family requests relatives, friends to follow guidelines | |  Early Times Report
Srinagar, May 19: Mohammad Aslam Gillani popularly known as Syed Farhat Gillani—father of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) SJM Gilani— passed away at his Humhuma residence here on Tuesday.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, three sons and their families.
The bereaved family in a message said that he had been suffering from illnesses for sometime now. He was surrounded by his loved ones and was at peace when the final moment came. “In the current COVID scenario where the world is going through troubled times, there are restrictions around movements and gatherings. We would request all our relatives, family friends and friends to follow the laws enforced,” the bereaved family said
The death has been widely condoled. The Early Times expresses solidarity with the bereaved family and prays for peace to the departed soul. |
