Dy Mayor JMC conducts surprise inspection of Ward No 66

JAMMU, May 27: Keeping provision of proper sanitation in mind, Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) conducted a surprise inspection of Ward No 66 along with Parshotam Kumar (SO) and his team of Health Officials. The surprise inspection was conducted on the basis of complaints of the local residents of ward 66. During the inspection, the Deputy Mayor and the officials present at the site discussed the sanitation issues and took view of the other basic amenities. It was noted that there were heaps of garbage on road. The condition of road is very dilapidated. There are pits and ditches on the roads. Lanes and drains are in worst condition. The Deputy Mayor also took stock of the various other problems faced by the general public. Dy Mayor then directed the concerned officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation on spot to sort out the grievances of the public on war footing basis. Sharma further appealed to the locals to stay indoors and cooperate with the efforts of Government and Police that are trying their best to stop the further spread of this pandemic.
