Mayor inspects ongoing development works at Bhagwati Nagar

JAMMU, May 27: Continuing the drive to provide better development as well as civic facilities to the people of Jammu city, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today conducted tour in the Municipal ward Nos: 31 and 32.
Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta alongwith Parmod Kapahi Councilor of Ward No 14, Sat Pal Karloopia Councilor Ward No 32 and Sucha Singh Councilor Ward No 31 took stock of the ongoing development works of lairage at Gole Area which is being executed by the Project Division of JMC.
Mayor was apprised by the Engineering Wing that this project is being constructed at the estimate cost of Rs one core twenty four lakhs only on approx 5 Kanals of Municipal Land having Main Hall along with Veterinary Doctors room, Dispensary, Segregation Room for segregation of animals as well as other requisite facilities and half of the development works at the said site has been completed which was delayed due to nationwide lockdown on Account of COVID-19 Pandemic.
Mayor went round the whole complex and reviewed the said development activities. He told the engineers that this is a prestigious Project of Jammu Municipal Corporation and directed them to complete the work by engaging more labourers keeping in view the proper social distancing within the stipulated time period.
