Samba, June 10: The Directorate of Indian System of Medicine (AYUSH) , J&K organized a free free Medical/Awareness Camp in village Shahzadpur. During the camp, Dr. Vandana Dogra and Dr. Ranju Bhan made people aware about the importance of immunity boosters during current COVID-19 outbreak and told how Indian traditional herbs can boost our immunity and keep diseases away. During the camp, they also distributed immunity boosting medicines among the people of village and advised them to use tulsi, dalchini, ginger, black pepper, geloy etc in routine for keeping their immunity up. Earlier Ram Paul Sharma, Sarpanch Panchyat halqa Gho Brahmana welcomed the officials of AYUSH and requested Govt to make such programme a regular feature in Rural areas. During the camp, Sarpanch Ram pal Sharma along with Naib Sarpanch Naveen Sharma and Panches Parshotam Singh ,Sat Pal Sharma, Trishala Devi,Rajni Sharma, Ashok kumar and Shamsher Singh also distributed masks and sanitizers among needy people and advised them to follow Govt. guidelines regarding social distancing, hand washing and use of masks. The other prominent people who were present during occasion were pharmacists Sham Lal, Raj kumar, Shashi pal and many more.
