4 among 5+ve corona patients recover in Mendhar | | | M S Nazki EarlyTimes Report POONCH, June 10: Despite coronavirus infections in district Poonch, the Mendhar tehsil was showing a healthy recovery rate with few patients needing ventilator support while four among 5 positive cases have been sent home. In fact, the tehsil Mendhar has a satisfactory recovery percentage than the other tehsils of the district this was stated by Block Medical Officer Mendhar, Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan. (BMO) on Tuesday. He informed Early Times that four postive cases of COVID-19 among five have recoverd so far and sent to home quarantine while another four patients have been tested positive in Mendhar . Among them three had travel history while one is a JKAP personnel . A ten year old boy also tested positive said BMO. He said contacts are being traced who are linked with JKAP policeman and will shortly be sent to the qurantine . Experts said this could indicate better immunity or a weaker strain of virus in the Sub Divsion Mendhar . They also said that those who were infected in the mentioned tehsil did not need ventilator support during their ailment. Meanwhile administration has declared three Panchayats of Mendhar as red zones and many others as buffer zone after four tested positive The villages which fall in Red zones, Nodal Officer has been deployed in those areas to look after the grievance/demands of the people said Dr Sahil Jandyal Sub Divisional Magistrate Mendhar .
