Pakistan army targets five villages of Nowshera | | | Ankit Kessar Early Times Report
Noshwera, June 10 : Atleast five densely populated villages of Nowshera tehsil in Jammu’s Rajouri district were on Wednesday morning targeted by Pakistan army with mortar shelling. Officials of police said that on Wednesday morning at around 07:55 AM, violation of ceasefire started on Line of Control in Nowshera sector after Pakistan’s army resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling. “ Besides LoC forward locations, five villages also came under intense shelling that include Manpur, Dhanaka, Ganya, Kalal and Baba Khori.” they said adding that all these villages are densely populated. “ Pakistan army directly pounded the civil population in these villages with an aim to inflict losses to innocent civilian population.” Sunil Kumar, a local resident said. He added that a cow shed also got damaged in shelling and two goats got killed.
