City of temples converted into City of Toll Plazas under BJP rule: Partap 6/10/2020 9:51:07 PM Early Times Report Jammu June 10: Stepping up the demand for abolition of newly set up Lakhanpur Toll Plaza along the Jammu-Pathankot highway, Young Panthers opposesed establishment of Toll Plazas in Jammu region. He Accusing the state administration of turning a “blind eye towards the genuine demands” of the public. Partap said that few years ago our Jammu city was famous for temples and it is commonly known as “City of Temples”, but now a days from the day BJP holds administrative works firstly in state and now in Union territory of J&K, Jammu now a days coverts into “City of Toll plazas”. While the Sarore, Ban and Chenani-Nashri toll plazas are already functional, the installation of a toll plaza at Lakhanpur, NHAI also subjected local population and pilgrims to further loot and extortion.” He said that the J&K has already been passing through critical times. Instead of taking steps to revive the growth, the government is bent on push. The new toll plaza will have a direct impact on the growth.
