JAMMU, June 16: In a simple yet impressive programme, keys of Scooties were handed over to the various applicants / beneficiaries, strictly following COVID-19 protocol by Prof Youdhvir Singh, councilor Ward No 73 (Bhour, Gadigarh).
On the occasion, Ajay Salan, District Social Welfare Officer, Malohtra from District Red Cross Society and Manjeet Singh Tehsil Social Welfare Officer were also present.
The programme was organized by District Social Welfare Office and District Red Cross Society. On the occasion, a total of 17 Scooties were handed over amongst the beneficiaries -14 males and 3 females. The beneficiaries were feeling at the top of the world after receiving the keys of Scooties from Prof Youdhvir Singh.
While handing over the keys of Scooties to the valuable beneficiaries, Prof Youdvir Singh advised them to follow traffic rules on the road strictly. He also thanked the District Social Welfare officer and the District Red Cross Society for their philanthropic move, keeping in mind the dire need of the skilled but specially abled workers, suffering from various locomotive disabilities.
