JAMMU, June 16: Sainik Samaj Party (SSP) JKUT has urged the Lt Governor and union government to initiate suitable measures to ensure safety of nationalist people staying in valley. Colonel SS Pathania, President SSP, said that barbaric killing of Sarpanch Ajay Pandita has raised numerous questions on the efficacy of Security cover and vulnerability of people, supporting the cause of integration of JKUT with the union government. Post abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A we are precariously poised to deal with the rapidly changing situation resulting due to the continuous proxy war waged by our friendly neighbor Pakistan, fully supported by China. He said that an all-out operation by our gallant security forces has almost wiped off the leadership of various groups and severely degraded their morale, however Pakistan will keep on pushing more and more militants and keep the issue alive for obvious reasons. Pathania said that three pronged strategy is the need of the hour, in which active militants including infiltrators, OGWs and sleeper cells are simultaneously engaged on short, medium and long term horizons fully integrating all intelligence agencies and local people. At the same time issue of providing security cover to nationalists, braving the militancy too needs to be addressed on priority, to ensure complete integration of JKUT with union of India in an uninterrupted and smooth manner. |
