SAMBA, June 24: Sarpanch Kuldeep Verma kick started the construction work of streets and drains of Ward No 1 of village Kesso. Panch Narendra Sharma, Panch Pawan Kumar, Numberdar Krishna Lal, Rakesh Kumar, Gur Dayal and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch Kuldeep Verma informed that the street and drains of Ward No 1 will be constructed at a cost of about Rs 6.5 lakhs. The sarpanch said that he is committed to initiate development works in the entire panchayat.
While Panch Pawan Kumar said that the starting of work for streets and drains in the ward will ensure jobs for labourers under MNREGA, who were sitting idle at homes due to lockdown, adding that the work initiated will help in minimizing their problems to a great extent.
