Jammu, June 24: Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu organized a condolence meeting to condole the demise of Prof. Nilamber Dev Sharma, a literary figure of J&K, who expired on 23rd June, 2020. The meeting was attended by the office bearers of JKCCA Pt. Kewal K Sharma, President, D P Abrol, Vice- Principal Sahol Dhardwaj, Secretary Smt. Anita Sharma, Cashier and O P Sharma, Director. JKCCA also received condolence messages of Advisors of JKCCA Padmashree M Y Taing, former Director General Culture, J&K, Zafar Iqbal Manhas, former MLV, J&K & former Vice President JKAACL and Mushtaaque Ali Ahmed, leading personality associated with International Film Festivals. In his message Padamshree M Y Taing wrote that Prof. Nilamber Dev Sharma was a doyen of English and Dogri literature. He had been a man of integrity and inspiration for many. The members who attended the meeting prayed Almighty bless the departed soul with peace and give courage to the family members to bear the irepparable loss. |
