Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, June 24: Taking strong note against illegal occupants working in the Tehsil Office Complex Premises, Tehsildar Kishtwar today removed illegal occupiers including petition writers, typists, stamp vendors and agents of Advocate for violating the COVID-19 norms including for non-maintenance of social distancing. As per the report submitted by Tehsildar Kishtwar Pramod Kumar to Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, the officer stated that despite repeated instructions to the petition writers, stamp vendors, typists and agents of advocates, they failed to follow the mandatory guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19 in district Kishtwar. Tehsildar in his report further submitted that all the illegal occupants functioning from the Tehsil Office Complex have been removed and only six persons were allowed to remain temporarily at the place till they make their alternative sitting arrangements. It is pertinent to mention that Kishtwar District Court and Revenue Complex Kishtwar previously holding the office of Deputy Commissioner were swapped between the judiciary and Revenue department wherein it was decided that all the activities taking place in Court Complex Kishtwar will take place from Revenue Complex while in return Tehsil offices will be shifted and made functional at Court Complex, but instead of vacating the whole old Court premises, some of the advocates, petition writers, stamp vendors and agents of advocates failed to vacate the premises forcing the authorities from time to time to initiate action against them.
