| Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers demand regularization | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, June 24: The Rehber-e-Khel Physical Education Teachers' Association (ReKPETA) Poonch has reiterated the demand for the regularization of 3000 Rehber-e-khel teachers of J&K.
The ReKPET scheme was introduced by the erstwhile state government of J&K and subsequently 3000 teachers were appointed.
As per scheme, such teachers are receiving mere Rs. 3000 per month besides seven years probation, which according to these teachers is a grave injustice with them.
The State Association of REKPET has reached out to every possible authority for the redressal of their demands but all in vain. The UT administration had constituted a committee in this regard but no one knows what happened aftermath.
With the amendment in SRO 202, the REKPET demands the same treatment with them also. The Association demanded that they should be regularised & probation period must be reduced to two years as par with SRO 202 employees. |
