| GDC Ramban hosts online essay writing competition | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, July 24: NSS unit of Government Degree College Ramban today organised an online essay writing competition on the theme “Role and Importance of Doctors during the COVID-19 Pandemic” for the students who are pursuing higher education.
The competition was organised with the purpose to highlight the role, responsibility and importance of doctors in combating the highly infectious disease of coronavirus which has claimed many lives across the world. A large number of students from various educational institutions enthusiastically participated in the event and described the role, responsibility and challenges faced by doctors during the COVID-19 pandemic as the frontline warriors.
The first position was shared by Anu Radha Jamwal of Govt. College of Education Canal Road, Jammu and Ms. Afshana Javiad of Govt. Degree College Handwara whereas second position was clinched by Sheenam Farooq of GCW Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The third position was shared by Ravinder Singh of Govt. Degree College Ramban and Rushanka Joseph Kottakkal of ICLES Motilal Jhunjhunwala College, Mumbai.
The event was judged by Prof Jaideep Kumar HoD Zoology and Dr Vinod Kumar HoD Botany The e-certificates of appreciation were given to all the participants who scored above 60 percent marks.
