Goverment turns “blind eye” towards, genuine demands of public: Partap | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 26: Stepping up the demand for abolition of newly set up Lakhanpur Toll Plaza along the Jammu-Pathankot highway, Partap Singh Jamwal opposed one more establishment of Toll Plazas in Jammu region. He accused the state administration of turning a “blind eye towards the genuine demands” of the public. He said that few years ago our Jammu city was famous for temples and it is commonly known as “City of Temples”, but now a days from the day BJP holds administrative works firstly in state and now in Union territory of J&K, Jammu now a days coverts into “City of Toll plazas”, firstly Ban toll plaza, a gift from State Govt to Jammu peoples, then Sarore toll plaza, now Lakhanpur toll plaza, and through sources we came to know that very soon they will gave a gift to us in shape of new toll plaza that will going to be installed near Akhnoor. Partap alleged that that BJP govt. promised with the people of Jammu region that no discrimination been done with the people of Jammu region and now BJP itself involved in this discriminative practices, that till now three toll plazas were gifted to Jammu region and very soon Akhnoor toll plaza also gifted to Jammu region, and there is only one toll plaza in whole Srinagar region. Partap further alleged that during campaign of Block Development Council, UT President of BJP clears everyone that we extirpate all toll plazas from Jammu region, but till now nothing was happened by the administration and new new toll plazas were gifted to Jammu region.
