Jammu, July 29: Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu organised a plantation drive cum Covid-19 awareness program at village Dhateryal block Marh, Jammu.
More than 200 saplings of different varieties including seasonal fruits and medicinal plants were planted by NYC volunteers, Youth Club members and people of the respected village.
More than 30 participants participated in the drive. Nisar Ahmed Butt (DYC,Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu),Shakti Sharma (President ,Nehru Youth Club,Chatha Gujran), Narayan Dutt Bali (National Youth Volunteer Block Marh), Amandeep (National Youth Volunteer Block Marh), Swarna Devi (President Mahila Mandal) Sunny Sharma (Joint Secretary, Sanathan Sangathan Chatha Gujran), Raj Kumari (Anganwadi Worker Dhateryal) were present on this occasion. Nisar Ahmed Butt (District Youth Coordinator) and Shakti Sharma (President Nehru Youth Club) also briefed the participants about the impact of the on-going Covid-19 pandemic.
