samba, Aug 25: With nationwide drastic rise in the number of COVID-19 cases, there is a dire need to maintain the highest standard of hygiene and sanitation, under its Corporate Social Responsibility, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has taken an initiative for the distribution of “Swavalamban Suraksha Kavach” (Hygiene Kit) to Industrial workers/ labours and migrants at Samba District in J&K UT through Non-Profit Organization ‘THE – SARA’. The distribution of Swavalamban Suraksha Kavach (Hygiene Kit) to 300 Industrial workers and migrants were done in SIDCO Industrial Complex Bari Brahmana and SICOP Industrial Estate Birpur in Samba district of J&K while maintaining the social distancing norms and other guidelines with regard to COVID- 19 pandemic. Hygiene Kit comprised of face masks, towel, medicated soaps, detergent bars, etc. ‘THE – SARA’ initiative and SIDBI’s concern towards the well-being of the society was very well appreciated by Industrialists, promoters, Industrial workers including migrants.
