Kishtwar, Aug 25: In a tragic fire incident,two shops and residential house of Om Parkash S/O Lakshmi hand R/O Sangambati Mughal Maidain gutted late last night.
As per the details available with Early Times, the family members notice the smoke coming out of the residential house and immediately raise the alarm, but due to non availability of fire tender services in the area, the property could not be saved.
The people time and again requested for establishment of fire tender stations at Tehsil or Sub Division level so that during such incident- the property could be saved from reducing to ashes. It was army from nearby 11 RR HQ that immediately rush to the spot and join the locals and police in preventing the fire from being spread, but despite hard efforts by the locals and the army- both the shops and the house gutted completely in this tragic fire incident. |
