Jammu, Aug 27: All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) State Executive Committee express serious concern over the damages caused due to flash flood because of heavy rains in several parts of Jammu and Kashmir and urged upon the administration to take immediate preventative measures for protecting life and property of general public. All J&K Youth Federation, Spokesperson Haroon Rashid said that rains have already caused catastrophe in various places which has badly affected the lifestyle of general public and damage to the government as well as private property and has augmented people suffering. Standing crops are also damaged which has poorly affect the farming community. AJKYF State Executive Committee urged upon the government to conduct survey for assessing the loss due the heavy rainfalls in the region by constituting committees at Tehsil and Panchayat. level headed by Deputy Commissioners to provide assistance to the affected people and immediate compensation should be released in the nanes of those who are badly affected as a helping shoulder to them.
