Kathua, Aug 27: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) organized Inter Zonal District Level Tournament of All age group boys in Football Cricket, KHO-KHO Volleyball and Badminton at venue Sports Stadium Kathua, HSS Kathua and Officer’s Club Kathua for handling the stress and depression of Covid 19, a pandemic situation. The Chief Guest O.P. Bhagat, District Development Commissioner Kathua along with Sunil Kumar DYSSO Kathua, all ZPEOS of 12 Zones, and Physical Education Staff opened the ceremony today on dated 27-08-2020 at venue Sports Stadium Kathua. For consideration the health of players, youth and sports department not only but also for health of district, union territory J & K as well as our country India, our District Development Commissioner decided every person related to this tournament tested for covid 19 individually. This tournament shall be held w.e.f 27-08-2020 to 30-09-2020. For controlling the effect of Covid 19 our DYSSO Kathua along with the opinion of activity Incharges Sh Joginder Kumar and Mohan Lal Dubb decided to make two pool having six- six zone playing match and one pool on one day for avoiding gathering. Today only pool A played Football match U/14 yrs Boys. Total around 96 players of six zone participated with full of energy and enthusiasm.To avoid the effect of COVID 19 Pandemic situation every individual wearing Mask, Screening process and all rituals were followed by every individual. First match was played between Billawar Zone and Sallan Zone in the supervision of ZPEO Hiranager Yograj. |
