AKHNOOR, Sept 4: As a part of special drive to check the traffic rules violations, a special naka was conducted at Akhnoor under the supervision of SDPO Traffic D S Katoch.
During the drive, the Traffic Police challaned several two wheeler riders plying without helmet and seized various wrong parked vehicles along the road in Akhnoor, vehicles without proper papers were also challaned.
SDPO Traffic Katoch while briefing media said that the drivers and two-wheeler riders should follow the traffic rules, adding that wearing helmets is safe for bike and scooty riders.
He said that more such drives will be conducted in future so that the traffic rules violations could be contained. |
